Orlean College of Pharmacy has been established under the aegis of Shri Mool Chand Sharma, Chairman, Shri Khatu Shyam Educational & Cultural Trust to nurture the future pharmacists as per national and global demand. The lush green campus is situated in Greater Noida, the knowledge hub of the country. The college is approved by Pharmacy Council of India, All India Council for Technical Education. The courses are affiliated to Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow & Board Of Technical Education, Lucknow. Today’s world pharmaceutical market is about $1.3 trillion. The pharmaceutical industry in India is developing at a galloping pace to catch up with the global markets and to register a significant presence in the globalised scenario. Now, Indian pharmaceutical sector industry supplies over 50 per cent of global demand for various vaccines, 40 per cent of generic demand in the US and 25 per cent of all medicine in UK. India contributes the second largest share of pharmaceutical and biotech workforce in the world. Today pharmaceutical sector in India is valued about US$ 40 billion.
