About us

Orlean College of Pharmacy has been established under the aegis of Shri Mool Chand Sharma, Chairman, Shri Khatu Shyam Educational & Cultural Trust to nurture the future pharmacists as per national and global demand. The lush green campus is situated in Greater Noida, the knowledge hub of the country.

Pharmacy embraces knowledge of identification, preservation, analysis and standardization of drugs of natural origin and others, synthesis of new drug molecules, manufacturing of various dosage form, quality control of drugs, clinical trials, mechanism of action, side effects, contraindications, indications of drugs and drug interactions. The application of unique knowledge and skills of the pharmacist to improve the health of the people is called Pharmacy Practice. It includes hospital, clinical, and community pharmacy.

All Pharmacy courses are job-oriented courses and also have potential for self-employment. The salient job opportunities after Pharmacy courses are as follows: Hospital Pharmacist, Retail Pharmacist, Medical Representative, Entrepreneurship (Retail and Wholesale of Drugs and Pharmaceuticals), Manufacturing Chemist for Cosmetics. No,there is no any Uniform code for such courses.

Yes, set of text books are provided to students of D. Pharma/B. Pharm from book bank free of cost. In addition to this, students are provided with I-card cum library card. Two books are issued for 14 days on this library card.

No, we don't have any common enterance test exam.

The Institute organizes Cultural events, Festivals like Debate competitions, Gendering, Days, Sports activities and also encourages the students to participate in various Inter-collegiate events.
