About Me

Dr. Manas Kumar Das is working as Professor and Director at Orlean College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida with many years of experience in teaching and Industry.

Academic Qualifications

  • Ph.D from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, Ranchi.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research (PGDCR).

Dr. Manas has successfully guided more than 10 M. Pharm students and supervised more than 70 B.Pharm projects. At present he is guiding 2 PhD students.

His areas of interest are neuropharmacology, gastrointestinal pharmacology and other pharmacological screenings of different drugs. Papers Published- 6 papers in International and 12 papers in different National journals. He has presented 25 papers/ abstracts in different International and National conferences.

Other Achievements

In June 2017, he has presented his research work in an International conference in Kualalumpur, Malaysia. He has attended 4 different workshops and symposia including hands on exposure workshop at Punjab University funded by UGC-NRC in neuropharmacology. He worked as member secretary of Institutional Animal Ethical Committee (IAEC).He has set question papers of various semesters of B. Pharm course for different Universities. He has been involved in examination, evaluation related works of AKTU. He is reviewer of many peer reviewed journals. He is a life member of Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA) and registered Pharmacist in West Bengal State Pharmacy Council.

Other Achievements

Dr.Mojahidul Islam is having 21 years of teaching experience and more than 70 national and international publications. Total Citations 340, H-INDEX- 9 & i10 INDEX -9 with 5 patents, written 6 textbooks and one chapter. He has guided 70 graduate Students projects, 25- Masters Students, 2 Ph.D students & guiding 8 Ph.D. Students.

He is on the editorial board of so many Journals. He did post DOC from University of Nebraska, United States. He qualifies GATE exam with 94 percentile conducted by IIT Delhi in the year 2001. Worked as a Professor and Dean at IIMT College of Medical Sciences, IIMT University, Meerut and Lingayas Vidyapeeth, Faridabad, Haryana. Worked as a Associate Professor and member of IQAC at Sharda University, Greater Noida. At sharda university he was the Member of Academic Council and Board of studies. IQAC member and NAAC documents reviewer at Lingayas Vidyapeeth and conducted AAA in Sharda University and IIMT University. He was the resource person for Outcome Based Education presentation and implementation in different departments

He is having ten years of teaching experience while working at Jazan University, Saudi Arabia and Omar Al Mokhtar University, Libya.

About Me

Dr Tinku Gupta currently working as a Professor in the Orlean college of Pharmacy affiliated from AKTU, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, he worked as Technical Officer in the Approval Bureau Section of Pharmacy council of India (PCI) work under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) of India. He also worked as an Assistant Professor in the School of Medical and Allied Sciences (SOMAS), GD Goenka University, Gurgaon, Haryana and SRM Modinagar college of Pharmacy, SRM university, Modinagar, Ghaziabad Uttar-Pradesh.

  • M.Pharmacy in Pharmacognosy.
  • Ph.D in Phytochemistry

Other Achievements

Dr Tinku Gupta was recipient of Sliver-Jubilee Fellow (2018-2020), AICTE-GPAT fellowship (2011-2013) and received "Pharma Ratna Award-2023" from State Branch IPGA, Uttarakhand. He has authored more than 30 research and review articles in the International Journals of repute. He is also an author of 2 books and book chapters. His citations are more than 100 and H-index of 7 and i10 index of 5. He has also received grant from the SRISTI-BIRAC Gujarat-India and GD Goenka University, Haryana for his research or project. His research interests are focused on the development and characterization along with pharmacological study with respect to diabetes and diabetic-related complications viz. Diabetic nephropathy, Diabetic retinopathy, Cardiomyopathy.
